To login to a computer attached to the St. Thomas University network, you will need your login name and temporary password. You will need to change this password upon login by going to https://stu.ca/password. Your Account also gives you access to campus wireless networks, the wireless network at the Harriet Irving Library, Moodle and Harriet Irving Library Services.Click here for Instructions for setting up Wireless.
Login to your email (webmail.stu.ca), you will need to enter your full email address (including @stu.ca) and temporary password. If you have not logged in to a campus computer yet, you will be asked to change your password to a secure one. This new password is also your Network Account (Wireless, Webadvisor, Moodle, and campus computers) password. To change your password visit stu.ca/password. If you have forgotten your password contact the JDH Helpdesk at 452-0625.
WebAdvisor is a software tool that enables faculty to view their class rosters, class schedules, search for classes, enter grades online, and view and print pay advices. To access WebAdvisor, use your Network account.
Moodle is a tool for facilitating learning, communicating and collaborating online that includes content building utilities for organizing course materials, administrative utilities for managing a course, and design utilities for constructing the course (color schemes, page layout, etc.). Your Moodle account is synchronized with your Network Account. If you have questions, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
