Mapping Your Home Drive

For Mapping your HOME drive while off campus please follow the Instructions below

 

**The following instructions assume you are connected to the internet and have logged into the STU staff VPN.  Please see VPN instructions**

 

Microsoft Windows Operating System

 

  1. Right-click on the My Computer icon and select Map Network Drive
  2. Select H: for the drive letter
  3. Enter \\fs1.ad.stu.ca\homefs\<username>

**Note:  <username> should be replaced with your STU username  (The one you enter when you initially log into your STU computer)

  1. Select Reconnect at Logon option if you want this drive to be mapped each time you    reboot your computer.
  2. Click Connect using a different credentials.
  3. Click Finish
  4. A new box pops up, choose “Use another account”
  5. Enter Network Password
    1. User name:  Enter STU\<username>
      1. <username> should be replaced with your STU username  (The one you enter when you initially log into your STU computer)
    2. Password:  Enter your Password
      1. This is the password you use when you initially log into your STU computer.
    3. Choose Remember my credentials
  6. Click OK
